Did- did I just make new and improved references for the TMM trio???? HUH??? YES. I SOMEHOW DID. HERE'S BEX'S NEW REFERENCE! I know I say "new" and i frankly NEVER posted references for the trio up at all. I'm only saying "new" cuz the last time I tried making proper references for them, all was.... 2021... yeah, if you knew me or saw my art from 2021. It wasn't what it is now... far from it- kinda glad I never posted the 2021 references cuz those were, uh, something to see. I was still learning how to draw full body pieces, and the proportions were interesting, to say the least. ANYWAYS. BACK TO BEX. HER HEADCANON VOICE HAS BEEN CONFIRMED!!! I can see Bex having a voice like the VERY talented Broadway actor Sarah Stiles! If you don't know her, she's known for playing Spinel in the Steven Universe Movie and Future series, she also played many roles onstage, more notably Sandy in the Broadway production of Tootsie the musical :] (this is what you signed up for when you follow someone on DA that enjoys musicals btw, you get me giving you a full history essay on my favourite Broadway actor) Also, I know, I'm kinda raising the bar a BIT high by saying that Bex would have a voice similar to an actor who's been on Broadway, when really, I'm just using it as a "reference". When it comes to casting for the trio in the future, I'm mainly looking for people who can play the character rather than be able to do a Spinel impression. Also don't worry, I'm not gonna be that guy and give Bex a bunch of solo music numbers and such, I'm aware her voice is squeaky which won't do well in a singing context. So speak-singing styles of musical numbers would be more suited for Bex. If you don't understand, just look up Sarah Stiles performing "What's Gonna Happen" from Tootsie the musical. Not only does it feature the style of singing suited for Bex, but it has both Stiles singing it AAANNNNND is a song PERFECTLY SUITED FOR BEX. IT'S "WORRYING AND OVERTHINKING: THE SONG"

Damn now that I look at her, she has changed a good bit since 2021. All of them have changed a bit, but Silly especially it seems- could be just me, though. Also, if you couldn't tell, these references are meant to emulate those pages found on websites from the 2010s that would have bios and videos to do with the characters of a cartoon. Think stuff like a "Meet The Characters!" type of thing. Which is why I have mini "video players" in each of their references. Both to have a look at them with different looks and expressions and also to further emulate that 2010s website vibe. NOW TIME TO GUSH ON ABOUT HEADCANON VOICES AGAIN (get used to this because I'll do the same with Stacy). Silly's headcanon voice is Elizabeth Giles, mainly known for playing Jade West from Victorious! I actually never watched Victorious, I only found out about her thanks to watching a Warrior Cats headcanon voices video and thinking "hey wait a minute- I think I finally found Silly's headcanon voice." And then this happened. Jade West is the perfect speaking voice for Silly honestly, just the whole "I don't care" vibe suits Silly's tone of voice. That and Jade West can shout really well from clips I've seen, which is good for Silly too. I will say though, Jade West's singing voice isn't something I have in mind for Silly- no shade to Gillies obviously, she has a nice singing voice. It's just not what I have in mind for the funny swearing coyote.

I don't think Stacy has changed that much, she's stayed relatively the same with a few minor tweaks here and there. The same type of idea follows through from the other 2's references. But here she is! Of course, when it came to giving this old film cat a voice, I just had to go with the queen of old Hollywood films and the glamour era, Marilyn Monroe. Yes, I'm not joking, Stacy does in fact have that transatlantic accent that would've been present during that time. Same case with Silly when it comes to singing voices also applies to Stacy. Marilyn Monroe, again, she has a lovely voice, same with Elizabeth Gillies. It's just not the voice and range Stacy would sing at. YES I DO HAVE VOCAL RANGES THOUGHT UP OF FOR THE TRIO TOO SO WHAT. I did musical theatre for 12 years, I study music AND I'm a fan of musicals, what did you expect?? For me to NOT plan out the trio's singing ranges and singing styles?? PFFF- actually, while I'm at it, since this is perfectly on topic with Stacy and musicals. THE TMM TRIO'S SINGING RANGES YAYYYYYYY.
Bex: Alto (despite the squeaky voice, when actually singing, she would be alto range, to get the best idea of it is Marcy's version of "The Alto's Lamet" its in Bex's Spotify playlist anyways-)
Silly: Contralto (nearing tenor almost)
Stacy: Soprano (Yes, I made her a soprano. What about it. Stacy deserves to pull a Christine from Phantom of the Opera and sing the highest notes possible.)
Did I plan this out and have it thought of for a long while? Yes! Thanks for noticing the fact that I spent hours thinking about this like as if TMM were to be a musical when that wouldn't happen in a million years pff-
OH YEAH THAT AND ALSO. Stacy would definitely be the most experienced in terms of singing out of the 3. She's done theatre for a LOOOONNNGGG while so it'd make sense she'd have more solo songs and such :] but I do think Silly would be a good singer thanks to Stacy teaching her a few things :]

DID YOU MANAGE TO READ ALL OF THAT?? REALLY?? HOLY FUCK. YOU POOR POOR SOUL IF YOU MANAGED TO SURVIVE MY UNHINGED RAMBLINGS. ANYWAYS. YEAH. Those 3 essay long paragraphs are indeed taken from my DA. Soooooo, yeah, nothing much else to say, I'm just gonna plug the TMM trio's playlists alongside my socials.
