To say that Legoshi was having a good day would be accurate. At least as good a school day can be while a murderer was on the premises. He had walked these halls many times before, yet today he could not keep a small smile from blessing his usually calm and neutral demeanor. Was it the food he ate? Were his roommates just a little bit funnier today? Were his classes enjoyable for some reason? He couldn't place it.

One reason to smile approached him now, though he did not notice her until she spoke his name. Legoshi turned in excitement but then froze. This rabbit wasn't familiar, and yet she was also exactly who he heard speak his name. This scent was unmistakable, it had driven him mad multiple times. This rabbit's body was wholly unfamiliar, and yet that face... it was exactly who what it was supposed to be.

Legoshi could guess that he stood close to a staggering six-foot one. Haru he surmised stood at a rather small three-foot five. However, this Haru was not that height, this Haru rivaled his best friend Jack in height. She was well within the five-foot six range. Not only that but her body seemed to be more pronounced. Legoshi backed up against the wall as this rabbit approached. Haru was never one to run away, and maybe she was aware of her height, because as Legoshi leaned against the wall she came right up and caressed his chin.

Legoshi couldn't believe he'd backed up like this, he chastised himself as his eyes looked down, directly at Haru's body. With a blush and quick glance, he met her eyes with his. This was bad, he wasn't sure which part of her he should look at, his tail wouldn't stop wagging. There was no denying he liked this closeness, but this was all wrong, Haru was not this tall. Was it some freak growth spurt, some hidden gene from her ancestors? Legoshi had no answers. So, he did the one thing he could think of, the one thing that had saved him the last time something like this had happened, he disengaged. Somehow, some way, he managed to escape the clutches of this taller Haru, and he backed away while rambling almost incoherently, before turning and running off.

Haru sighed, she knew she had pushed too hard, but who could blame her? It's not every day that you were suddenly up to your boyfriend's chin instead of his hip. With hands on her hips and a shake of her head, she set off in pursuit of the wolf. They would surely solve this mystery together, and hopefully it wouldn't be too hard to adapt to this new height.

Honestly this came to fruition from a simple question; What if Haru was taller? Might go further with this, might not, but I'll admit I don't want to go crazy with it.

Perspective seems to be the issue with this piece with the background. HOWEVER that aside I like what you're doing with both Legoshi and Haru.

It's been awhile since I've seen Beastars to be fruitfully honest. What I do think however is that you could really craft your style into something that I think can be really awesome overall if you put the time into improving your weaknesses and make them your strengths somehow.

Sanzokudebien responds:

While I do appreciate and enjoy constructive criticism, I'm sorry to say that I am just the idea man and writer for this one, my art skills aren't nearly as developed as this, however if you'd like to give the artist some pointers you can find one of her links in the caption.
