Reality Variant: Beastars

Subjects: Legoshi and Haru

The phenomenon we observed in the Beastars variant has continued in its effect. Subject Haru has been witnessed to increase in size yet again. Unlike our previous encounters in a separate Beastars and Zootopia variants, this effect appears to be occurring over time rather than suddenly all at once. We will continue monitoring the situation to see if it develops further.

Legoshi was at a loss for words, on top of the sudden growth spurt Haru experienced, now he had discovered that Rizz was the murderer. The wolf shook his head as he walked along, sighing as he thought about the whole situation: Louis, Rizz, Haru, everything was just becoming so complicated. Doctor Gohin was definitely not making things any easier.

As he leaned against the wall, lost in his thoughts, the grey wolf heard someone. The voice that called his name was not immediately recognizable, immediately... Legoshi blinked, then blinked again. "Haru?" The tone was a question, because while the voice sounded like the one of the rabbit he cared a lot for, it was deeper... The footsteps approached rapidly and he didn't turn his head for even a moment before he was bowled over by a surprisingly large and very unexpected form. "It happened again! I thought it was just a one-off but this morning I woke up and nothing fit and I was bigger than my bed and..." The rambling carried on as the wolf took the time to recover from being knocked to the ground by a six foot rabbit.... it was then that he realized how wrong that thought sounded. The grey wolf looked down and simultaneously froze in the physical sense, whilst inwardly screaming and mentally doing so many flips that it only contributed to the rather unnatural way he remained still. The panicking bunny on the other hand just kept rambling, and it was quite obvious why.

When Legoshi had first met the white dwarf rabbit, he guessed she was close to three and half feet tall, weeks ago she had inexplicable shot up at least good foot and a half. Now the name "dwarf" rabbit did not fit her whatsoever, even from the rather compromising position he was in he could see that she was at least as tall as his own chin. The rabbit for her part managed to ease herself off of him, but this whole time her mouth had not stopped moving. Her tone was that of worry and fear, Legosi shook himself free of shock and awe and sat up, lifting himself to his feet and then lifting her up as well. "Calm down Haru, take a deep breath and let's try to figure out what's wrong." Haru still looked rather upset but did as he had said, breathing deeply before speaking again, "Like I said, I woke up this morning and... Oh for Pete's sake Legosi look at me! She turned her back to him, looking at her own arms as if seeing them for the first time. "I'm taller than that wolf Juno, I'm almost as tall as you are!" Unfortunately for the wolf, getting a better look at the now five-foot-too-tall rabbit only served to shock his mind back into inaction. Not only had her body maintained it's curvature from before, now it was apparent that her uniform was a little too small for her, exposing her stomach and back to the wolf. Considering that Legoshi had not seen much more of her outside of their first meeting and that one time after he saved her, this situation did nothing to assuage his feelings of anxiety and attraction.

Haru frowned and felt tears welling up in her eyes, this was too much. She was someone who took confidence in what they had, the keyword there was "had." Now she seemed to have more than anyone would expect and she had no idea what to do with it. She was a freak, a real freak now, and she had no idea if this was the end to this strange happening. "What am I going to do...?" Legoshi's brain clicked, hearing and witnessing her sorrow, fear and anxiety brought him back to reality. Yes this was strange, yeah she wasn't the same size she had been before, but he had come to like Haru for more than that.

With this inner revelation Legoshi pulled himself from his minor catatonia and stepped around to her front. "Listen to me Haru...." He looked to the side, not really being the best at these kinds of words. "You might be tall... you might get taller than me..." Haru's face fell at the thought of being even taller than she already was. "But if that happens... or if it doesn't... I want you to know that I won't think of you any differently." He looked down at her hand, thinking how it would fit almost perfectly with his own, but he merely placed a hand on her shoulder. "You are still Haru, and I still feel the same.... even if we have another obstacle to find a way through..." He rubbed the back of his head with a chuckle. Haru thankfully couldn't help but laugh a little bit herself and looked at Legoshi with a little more confidence. "Thanks.... Thank you Legoshi, it really means a lot to hear you say that.... Heh, at least my parents took it in stride.

They both laughed and talked about how her parents had they had fretted over her. They had only just adapted to her being the tallest one in the family. Legoshi eventually led her away from where they had been standing for quite some time now. He knew this would take time but he hoped they could figure it out... together.
