Concept Art for possible webcomic idea: Anya Siā

Share

This will be the main character for my webcomic, “Pity Party”. I was inspired to create this story due to having a lot of ideas for stories that I never went for & also because I noticed that “female loser” type characters are basically nonexistent and or are just geeky stereotypes. You almost never see a character like Travis Touchdown or Scott Pilgrim or many other “Loser” type characters as females. This time I wanted to change that by making this character in the same lane as characters like Travis to help make her truly stand out, although some things on this concept sheet may not be in the final product as this is early concepts. Also, yes, Anya also has a thing for anthro animal characters because she’s a furry. One last thing, no just because this story has minority characters in it, doesn’t automatically make it “woke”, “SJW pandering”, “Twitter” type garbage. I just have an internal feeling that at least one of those types of people are gonna judge this based on that so I just felt like saying that here & now because in truth, I want to flesh out my characters in this & not just make cardboard cutouts for “diversity”. This comic will also be for mature audiences due to graphic violence, dark themes, slight suggestive themes (Due to me being a minor/17, I can’t draw or show on screen sex), some offensive jokes, & in general things that at least 17 & above should be viewing.
