Ripley is a cruel and talented sorceress of a monster known as a Begazer. She is a very strong dungeon boss, ruling and protecting the treasures of the narcissistically named Lair of the Cruel Eye. She takes her job very seriously and her employees are little more than slaves to her, which leads to her having no real friends among co-workers. The only company she keeps are several floating eyeball monstrosities created magically from eyeballs she ripped from her own skull and enchanted to life. These little mini begazers float around and do her bidding, as well as serving as floating surveillance turrets who can shoot magical lazer beams and patrol her dungeon. All in all, she runs a very tight dungeon and has mounted many successful defences from would be raiders.

Prior to her life as a dungeon boss, Ripley lived a reclusive life of isolation where she practiced her cruel magics in places that no one could easily find her. This was of course mainly due to her interest in the more dark and forbidden of magical arts as well as her predisposition to live experimentation on kidnapped test subjects. When she was finally captured by the Erinyes, it was determined that her magical advancements were worth keeping her freedom. She was given the Lair of the Cruel Eye and pardoned of her crimes, as well as being given any and all subjects, devices and ingredients she needs to continue her research so long as she keeps her twisted, cruel experiments solely confined to her dungeon and stopped preying on innocents. Ripley agreed and has been happy with her arrangement ever since.

As for her relationship with the Hero of MHFAP!, she finds him of great particular interest due to his body's high resistence against hostile forms of magic. They met, as one would expect, when he defeated her in her dungeon, and ever since Ripley has been seeking him as she plans experiment after experiment to put him through. She is cruel and wicked, however, and would harm anyone who gets in her goal of pursuing him. Her petname for him is 'Lab rat', for reasons that should be pretty obvious.
