Hi Newgrounds! My name is Pico, I am the weakest Go! Go! Hypergrind fan since this game's theme song usually gets me out of depression! So much so, that I'm gonna make the cutscenes for this game! This was my attempt at a generally on-model Penny from Go! Go! Hypergrind. It really broke my mold as a beginner, & I'm super happy I did it! There are a few things I did differently with Penny to make her easier to animate such as covering her collarbone & giving her smaller hands.
Some tips for drawing Penny for those that need help visualizing 3d shapes like me:
Penny's shoe boot thingies are circular, but not too clowny, she has a heart-shaped chest, an hourglass waist, & her sleeves should ride up to make an S-shape when its a three quarter view!
her mouth is a bean shape, & the highlight for her eyes are consistently on the green part! Use her eyebrows to align with her ear shape across her head! Her eye shape should be leaf-ish, almost sickle-like for the top part of her eyelash! For the Bean mouth, the top should end at the first head spike's top. Her head spikes go from biggest to smallest from Middle, Top, Bottom. If you have any questions about beginner art things, want to talk about Go! Go! Hypergrind, or are interested in being an underling & extracting the audio files so I can lip sync them, feel free to hit up my Twitter PicoTheTrap ! Reminder Go! Go! Hypergrind is owned by Atlus & Spumco.
