Yes, yes, I know. This is the third time I came out with a different mixed orientation.
However, it will be final this time and for a few good reasons.
When I came out as a biromantic heterosexual, I thought it suited me. However, over time, it did not.
I felt uncomfortable about dating men and women equally, even though I felt attracted to both.
It's not just because I'm a Roman Catholic; it's also my personal preference.
I was and am more into emotional relationships than romantic or sexual relationships.
That being said, I never knew there were different orientations and attractions other than platonic, emotional, romantic or sexual until recently.
I was more interested in the sensual relationship because I deeply desire to do physical, non-sexual acts to people, like hugging and kissing.
The way I see it, a sensual relationship is more emotional than physical, which is why I like this attraction.
During my web searching, I read somewhere that just because you are bi doesn't mean you have to be intimate with men and women equally.
Although this is, in my opinion, something to think about, I still need something to show I'm not always romantically attracted to people.
With all that said, from now on, I will now and forever call myself a bisensual heterosexual.
My new mixed orientation does not need a romantic orientational aspect because bisensuality can include romantic attraction.
I might consider romantic and sexual attraction in the future (specifically for women). For now, though, I prefer to get emotional and sensual.
