I managed to whip up something today, I´ve been doing mostly painterly stuff, and I wanted to try out a flatter cartoony looking thing. I´m not suuuuper proud of the final piece, but I´m proud of the process because I haven´t tackled creating actiony poses without direct references and giving them nice clean linework in a long time.

Looks fantastic, but holy shrimp do you need that large resolution? I'm very jealous that you're able to make this and I assume without any trouble. I can't even exceed beyond 2560 x 1440 resolution without lagging. Regardless though, great work!

Although, if I would like to critique something to make it even better. Increasing the contrast of the shading with Pepino? and the green dude (forgot the name at the moment)? Would not only make them more standout, and is realistic since having a strong light source would create stronger and darker shadows. It makes them more pop-out more.

But yeah, it still good regardless! (Geez I need to sleep now).

Ey glad you like it and I love this review!

So, about the huge size I just clicked the "poster" default option when creating a new thing on Photoshop, and I didnt even realize the standard 300dpi was that big. I did all the colors on like 2 layers, so that helps with the not lagging like hell. Did the linework in FLash because I´m a maniac.

I actually tried doing stronger and highlights with warm colors on Pepino and the bard(green dude). But I thought it looked kinda crappy on top of the orange background that I didn´t want to change because Newgrounds pride yea. Anyways, I did my little last minute tribute and had fun and thanks for making me rethink this thing, fun times.
