Wei the Banana Meteor

The father of the shihou race is the legendary Monkey King Ling Mingdan Hou, a monkey given sentience by the Sovereign. He would become an amazing warrior and legends of his adventures are known too numerous. Known to few is that fact the Monkey King actually found love and had a child. The descendants of the Monkey King have all been natural fighters and have inherited his famed shapeshifting unbreakable staff. Wei is the most recent in the line of the Monkey King's descendants, she is also the first one whose identity as the Monkey King's descendants was widely known. As such she got many masters eager to try and train her, but in the end her parents wisely decided just to train her herself. Most of the would-be masters took this in stride, except for one: a shihou named Kongo was extremely bitter that he would not be training Wei, so he seeked out revenge. After searching the world for a way to get back at the Monkey King's family he found an artifact known as the Ever-Hungering Elixir, a foul brew created by the demon lord of debauchery Gaxes. When drank, the elixir makes the user's body feel the need to eat more and more, they are no danger of starving but it is impossible the roar of their cursed stomach. Kongo managed to poison Wei with this elixir and was ready to see her fail to become a great warrior due to the excess weight she would make.

Indeed, the elixir took it's toll on Wei. Throughout the day she would eat countless bananas, she steadily grew bigger and bigger. Both she and her family and friends tried ot find a way to stop her gluttony, but the power of the poison was too much. After just a single week, Wei was now almost as wide as she was tall... However, the genes of the Monkey King are not so easily foiled and Wei's own determination allowed her to use her weight to her advantage. Despite weighing almost as much as an elephant, Wei could still leap high and had remarkable dexterity. The shape changing nature of the Monkey King's staff also ensured she could wield it no matter what. Kongo could only gasp and grumble at this... His plan had failed completely, if anything he had only increased Wei's reputation even moreso.

A few years have passed since Wei completed her training, the elixir has since worn off. She stays rotund, but like with a sumo wrestler it is by choice, her combination of agility and mass has made her a deadly fighter, earning her the title Banana Meteor. The Monkey King would be proud.
