This piece is named "Secret Isolation", for it's common for LGBTQ+ people to feel out of place when they're somewhere and don't know many other queer people. Even if we're out and proud, it's a kind of isolation that is hard to explain to straight and cisgender people. So here it is: a lonely person in the sunset; a lonely LGBTQ+ person in a place with the "straight pride" flag. And right on time for May 17th, a day in which queer communities all around the world celebrate our fight for equal rights.

I used watercolor, color pencils and 0.5 pens (brown and dark grey).
