if you jump out of the slide you can actually go back into the slide if you slide at the peak of the jump. This also increases your momentum making it a very useful trick for speedrunning.

My dad was in one of those spinny rides at the fair way back when, the ones where you're basically suction-cupped to the wall by the g-force. This fella next to him pukes, and he recounts how it just suctioned to the wall too but started slowly creeping towards him like a blob of doom. The ride slowed down just in time and it sorta just slumped onto the floor between him and the other guy, and he ran out before he lost his lunch again.
