More practice with Tundronians. Here's a pic of a Tundronian working in a seaside salt mine.
A Tundronian's body uses salts to produce a sort of organic antifreeze. This prevents Tundronians from freezing up in the sub-zero temperatures they are so comfortable in. This also means Tundronians need a considerable amount of salt in their diets. Although they can produce these salts in labs now, some Tundronians still mine sea salt from tidal caves like their ancestors used to.
