Fakemon: Fire Starter

Cephlare is an octopus, particularly a Maori Octopus which look like they have spikes growing on their bodies. There's not much to this guy, besides the fact its head resembles those cat ear headphones, I thought that looked cute.

I doubt this would ever be a real starter, not because it's a water creature as a fire starter but because of the lack of a visible mouth, which all starters have. I think it would look cluttered with one personally.iu_1043393_17413141.webp

Ah yes, Cephalamp, the one that took me way too long. It now takes inspiration from cuttlefish and lava lamps. I mentioned before how the fire starter represented the future so I thought giving it this sorta nerdy sciency vibe would work

I ADORE Galavapod, especially its name... But it's a tad overdesigned.

It now takes some inspiration from giant squid.

I love Pokémon with cool transparent elements, my favorite Pokémon are Dewpider and Araquanid after all, and this line takes a lot of inspiration from those two.

It's ability is galvanize which is normally Alolan Golem's signature ability, but what it does is it makes all normal type moves into electric type moves and boosts their power slightly.

Its signature move, Burning Sting is essentially Fire type, Special, Dire claw, Sneasler's signature move, but rather than a chance to put the opponent to sleep it's a chance to burn the opponent
