My first submission to Newgrounds! Admittedly I'm a little dissapointed that this was my first submission instead of something more fitting or overall finished rather then a sketch, but I just wanted to submit something finally to try and get over my upload anxiety. These are some new grounds I'm stepping on and I want to leave my deviant anxieties behind and start fresh. I'm hoping to become more active here as well as learn more of this site and its community past FNF (although I admittedly have a ton of fanart I could submit later on). From what I've seen so far? I'm very excited. For now though my profile needs polishing as does this drawing/concept I drew.

Speaking of the drawing, what brought up this idea is that it's Pico Day, and the beginning of may which also means the first day of the month-long drawing challenge where you draw a mermaid each day (Mermay)... I also love character/species design so idk, it made sense I guess. Plus it brought forth a couple of fun ideas of how this would work in Pico's School considering he's a guppy, a social type of fish that often stay in schools of other guppies, and underwater weapons exist in real life. I may draw a more finalized illustration of the concept at some point, though not anytime soon.

Rambling aside, happy Pico Day 2021!

I hope and then make a girlfriend mermaid, excellent drawing

Mitch-et-ze-Willows responds:

Thank you! I may make GF at some point along with BF though I'd have to think through what kind of sea creatures they'd be that way the characters still keep their roles (such as GF still being a demoness or overall not normal). Still though thank you!
