Background:

Aleah was once a courtesan for a noble family of Gifteeg meant for the young son, Barkus Gifteeg, in hopes that it’ll help him prepare to be a proper husband and next-in-line heir, and when he needs concubines to secure the noble family bloodline. Instead, the young lord pays little respect for her as he sees her as nothing else lower than him and nothing more than his entertainment. During her stay, she ended meeting the noble family’s young court wizard; Darius the Black, as he not only just gave her a bit of education but gave her respect and kindness to her person. What started out was just lessons to gain more knowledge in her hell-hole became a secret relationship when the two fell in love.

However, this secret affair resulted Aleah becoming pregnant with his child, and as soon as Barkus caught wind of this he retaliates with attempted of murder since he absolutely despises the thought someone "taking away" what belongs to him. Darius intervenes in time as they managed to escape after finally having enough of the family’s bullshit and corruption. After traveling far enough in the months on the run, their daughter was born safely, but they know they’re not out of the woods of the young lord's wrath just yet when they nearly deflect another assassination attempt. Darius decided that he needed to settle this once and for all in hopes to protect his family as he promises that he'll come back. After one last embrace, she had to watch the man she ever loved depart in the dead of night.

A few years passed, she didn’t receive a word from him as she raises their daughter Nesaea, until a letter came by to her from Darius. It describes that he’s alive and the family is dealt with, but he can’t come back in normal means as a result, as he seems to be in another sticky situation. This prompted our heroine to go after him to bring him home, she knows that this is a big risk, but being so overwhelmed by emotions of loneliness and pining she is willing to take it. She had to bid her daughter a tearful farewell as the child is left under the care of a farmer she befriended during her hiding, all what's left is the hope to bring her lover home...

Made another character into a D&D class! This time with a familiar face, Alice Carmichael into Aleah Gardenio the Half-elf bard.

Bit of a fun fact:

- Gardenio is derived from Gardenia which symbolizes joy, purity, refinement and secret love

- Her main instrument is an ocarina.
