Ailbhe Caorunn spent years on the road when they reached the border town that separates the world from the Southern Badlands, the harshest, coldest environment located in the utmost southern part of the world. They hoped that they can journey thereafter receiving a letter from a supposedly dead friend, but in order to do that Ailbhe would have to participate in the Southern Badlands Challenge where participants must partake in the trials held by the Dragonborn clan leaders spread out of the land and only when they collected the emblems, would they fight the Champions and win.

Feeling that there's not much of a choice, they decided it's better to participate in the hopes it'll take them to the "Sacred Place" where their friend is waiting. That is where Ailbhe got to meet a ragtag group of people that Ailbhe would eventually warm up after being so hesitant.

• Navieth Thronebreaker: A Goliath Ranger who serves as a guide for any travelers who reached the border town.
• Roki Bakerbon: A sweet, southern belle Gnome Barbarian that has a love for cooking and making people feel comfortable
• Inari Bakerbon: Roki's adopted sister Tiefling Wizard, a quiet shy counterpart of her sister but nonetheless a gentle girl.
• Jethro Zalaam: A mysterious and composed Human Monk who decided to tag along the group for his own means.

After going to bed for they will head out the next morning, the group had a vision in their dreams that night of a pair of red eyes staring at their soul.

The lettering in page 3 is all in goblin, sometimes they would switch from goblin to common from time to time.
