Ailbhe's sketchbook(Southern Badlands Session 4)

Share

----

A long night has passed and Ailbhe had a mysterious dream where they saw a strange pulsating cocoon in red energy.

Ailbhe was determined to draw the vision down before they would forget, but learned that they ran out of red crayon/paint after they used it up with their last sketch of Malafor. So they took the matter into their own hands by cuttiing their finger and used part of their blood to detailed the color, despite that it came off.

This however, alarmed their companions as they reacted in different ways on Ailbhe's questionable methods to record their dream:

  • Navieth placed their entire hand that has the cut finger into a tournaquet and wrapped it with plenty of gauze. The finger was then healed.
  • Roki and Inari ran them over with the basics of color theory since they point out to Ailbhe that they shouldn't be using their own literal blood, sweet or tears for their craft
  • Jethro ran out to find art supplies to help replace or gain more red paint.

When Jethro came back, he brought back a specialized item that was called "Dr. Rainbow's box of Infinite Colors" that Nate got for Ailbhe as the small magic item contains never ending crayons that are inside. Ailbhe wants to test this theory out by tipping the box over, but was promptly stopped by Navieth before they could.

Once the morning shenanigans died down, the party are then prepared to take on the first trial of the Southern Badlands challenge, The Clarity Trial tasked by Krimvash Ammondorran.
