We are getting closer and closer to General Artificial Intelligence, where computers are as competent as the human brain. It goes beyond a computer using image recognition to know what a piece of art is, but it understands why it is. This piece shows an AI learning as the Mona Lisa is pulled out of her painting, as she is no longer just an image of a woman, but it understands why she is art.

This was produced for 'Draw with jazza's' competition of the month, 'Tradigital' which asked for illustrations with the theme of combining traditional art forms with modern, digital forms.

Nice! I like how those two different worlds meet.
I didn't recognize it as Mona Lisa at first but I saw some distant connection to Michelangelo's 'Creation of Adam' because of that light touch.
Great work. Best of luck to the contest! :)

hey, thanks for your feedback. Yes, the Creation of Adam was defiantly in my mind while i was planning it. 'Mona' is more a computers understanding of the mona lisa, obviously the things we find recognisable, such as the smile and competition are different.

this is the first time I've uploaded anything to newgrounds, so i didn't even know people could comment on it or rate it...the more you know! *rainbow flies overhead*
