A character that I spontaneously created. One of the friendly enforcers of the law in a futuristic society, Avo is an old model of security robot that was sent to the dump due to old age. They were promptly stolen as they were essentially a free robot. They now defend an old apartment block from squirrels, sparrows, and rats. Some people say that you can hear the sounds of automatic gunfire within the apartment complex and blame the robot, but long-term residents know that Avo's never fired a shot during their tenure.

They get called many names other than the unsavory ones - "Greenie", "Green-Bean", "Pear-Head", and "Lima Bean" being chiefly among them - but "Avocado" (or "Avo") seemed to have stuck the most.

For some reason, they get very few high fives from outsiders.
