This piece, entitled "Abandoned," is a 16"x 20" scratch-board illustration. The piece features a teddy bear slumped over in the forgotten corner of a child's bedroom. With this piece I wanted to invoke the feelings of nostalgia for those long lost toys practically all viewers had.

"Abandoned" was created using a white clay with a layer of black ink over top, all over-top a thin board, and the ink having been scratched away with an x-acto knife. I have included the second picture to show the deepness of the black with more clarity, as the lighting in the first wasn't as kind.

There is a white mat over top the piece as it was previously framed.
