All the characters are super awesome! Can't even pick a favorite! The scene and colors are amazing and the details and shadows are cool. Its just---wow! Great job! Good luck in the contest!

Mission 202 - Liberation from the Inkies

In this piece, I have drawn 6 revolutionists who are on a mission to liberate the world from the Inkies. Leading the gang of warriors is a modernised Vincent van Gogh, followed by a stealthy calligraphy assassin, graffiti artist, texta gun sharpshooter, archer and medic. I chose Vincent to lead this group, as I've always felt inspired by him and his work, especially 'the starry night'. It really blows my mind how an artwork over 100 years old, remains to be one of the most well known pieces of art today. The rainbow of art supplies behind them symbolises the uniting of the art community of all age, gender and ethnicity to fight the evil that plague their world. I also thought including this would encourage people that no matter who you are, where you come from, or how you live, the only person holding you back to creating art, is yourself.
