Definitely didn't regret reading the second part as well. I don't know if you've heard of it (I've only read about it and seen some panels), but the art style and general vibe of this comic slightly remind me of Blame!, a manga by Tsutomu Nihei - this is very much a compliment. If you have plans to continue this story, I'll be among the first in line to read it.
