Here she is, Nicole Stourbridge herself. With a redesign of her own. Happy birthday to her! The eldest and second tallest in her class, Nicole is an imaginative, spunky tomboy. She's big on knowledge of stuff she's interested in, but small on social skills. 

I haven't posted anything to do with Nicole in a long time. Probably it's because I spent all that time trying to come up with a good enough story for her. First, I had in mind a feature-length webcomic called Ups & Downs of Life. Production began in the summer of 2013, before it got quietly canned in mid-2017, though character art did still pop up on rare occasions. Drawing each panel of the comic could get long and tedious, so now I think I've found a way to get panels made a lot faster for its reincarnation, which might have a different title.

Nicole is yet another character whose new design combines those of her kid and teen selves and had her eyes redesigned to be smaller and less dinner plate-like. Her spiky eyelashes from her teen design have been incorporated here, albeit spaced further apart from each other. The back of her hair has also been redesigned to appear more realistic. She's got one ponytail here, but how and why did she decide to upgrade to a double ponytail later on in life? The reason for that is a secret.
