Doomsday Process

Hey all! I saved certain stages in the image due to big, unflattened images so thought I would make a use of all the slow-down on my computer -_-. lol.

Hope someone finds this useful :). I had a lot of fun with this one!

Awesome walkthrough, with a kickass end-product!

(I've always loved Doomsday, too)
I'm really going to be studying this closely, because I'm trying to shake the habit, or at least branch out from my style of black-ink articulating every detail and shape of a character. What I do is really comic-booky, and I'd like to do something like this. More "Fine Art" illustrations.

The double light-source does wonders for the characters dimensions, and there's no flaws I can find. He looks ready for League of Legends. TEN OUTTA TEN, and fived!

God damn it. I wish i could color as good as that, or shade.

Great artwork

For you original line-work do you draw that out on paper then scan it in or draw it on Photoshop or another program like that.

JoshSummana responds:

Nah I just draw it all on photoshop.

Incredible and inspiring. It's actually a god idea to make process like this. You learn and make others learn.

This is amazing!!! And insightful!
But mostly amazeballs
