Hackbytes are nasty lil' programs that can lock you into a certain state when in battle! After they lunge at you, they'll attempt to plug into your body and lock any status effects you have onto you, keeping them on you for even longer than they should! -And the worst part: YOU CAN'T GET 'EM OFF! Luckily for us, a bug in their programming causes them to spontaneously unlock and shut off from whoever they're attached to... Try not to rely on that though, better to dodge them out-right!
