Alright, I'm cheating with this entry. In fact, I'll be cheating a lot during this series. Bianca is not a cowgirl character. However, I do think she fits the style really well, and this piece ended up being a lot of fun to work on. Western Wednesdays is not just a celebration of western characters, but also the overall western aesthetic. So, there will be quite a few characters that maybe aren't cowgirls, but are drawn to be cowgirls. Or cowboys! I might draw some guys down the line as well. I'll need to think about that more though.

This is the first entry in the series that's an actual piece. The background is simple, but I think it works. I tried not to go too crazy with the lighting. I wanted it to almost be like a twilight with a moon glow on Bianca. However, I figured if the effects were too strong, it might make it difficult to fully appreciate the piece. In the end, I think I found a nice balance. Hope you enjoy!
