To many, Osiris is considered to be a strange individual. He's a man of little words, who never spoke about his past. Nobody even knows when it's his birthday, the year he was born in, any relatives, or even his last name.

All they know is that the Agency doesn't like him, presumably because he established the new and improved Sunlight Safeguards in the first place, and that he is one hell of a skilled magician; having mastered both Spirit- and Star magic, some even believe him to have been part of the First Seven Sunlight Safeguards.

But alas, that is nothing more than merely a rumor.

The name "Osiris" isn't even his actual name. It was more of a cover up of his past he dreaded so much.

His true name was "Saraswati Moonstone." He was born in Spain, 1893, Long before the VSC Agency was even established and long before the Nixlingians began terrorizing the Earth. It wasn't the greatest time to be born, as when the years flew by, several wars would break loose, one after another. It was only a matter of time before Saraswati would get dragged in the horrors as well, and what he'd go through there would leave him changed forever. He fled from his own name, his own face, like the coward he considered himself to be, -or have been.

Time passed, and the year 1976 befell upon humanity. Seemingly out of nowhere, the connection points breached open, and the dirty rotten Nixlings mowed down humanity to shreds. It was estimated that over two thirds of humanity was lost to their endless lust of havoc, and whatever remained of man fled underground, with a few exceptions.

The quality of life within the underground caves and tunnels designed by the governors was absolutely no luxury. It reeked of filth and the atmosphere was filled with dread and misery.

Soon, a new corporation began taking form, an organization who claimed to have better knowledge on the realm-breach-situation, who promised the people a better life than what they had there. Almost immediately, Osiris was hooked on the rage, as were countless of others. He was one of the first to join The Vanquish Conserve Savvy Agency, and was assigned to work at The Spirit Sector. Those who were allocated with The Spirit Sector had the privilege of moving from sector to sector to expand their research.

Around circa 1993, Osiris made a diversion in one of The Fire Sectors’ sites (additionally containing Nixlings) to break Kháos out and establish the Sunlight Safeguards in order to take down the agency and put an end to their plans by closing off the connection points once and for all. 

With this diversion, he broke out Kháos and all the other nixlings contained at that site, hoping the VMUs would be overwhelmed dealing with them and not him. 

Unfortunately, this backfired, and the head of the fire sector decided it was a good idea to let the nixlings terrorize the living sector to keep them busy and have the VMUs deal with them there.

Hathor was 5 years old when Osiris’ diversion plan backfired, and was forever scarred by the visions of the nixlings feasting upon his mother and father right before his very eyes. It’s a wonder they didn’t notice him, and Hathor forever carries a sense of guilt for not doing anything to help or perhaps save his beloved parents.

Hathor got taken under Osiris’ wing when he was 5 years old.

He underwent combat training at 8 years old and first began fighting out on the field at 14 years of age. He lost his left underarm at 16, and his right underarm at 17. At 20, just before the series began, he lost his legs.
