This is the first request I received for my open ended OC art request I put out ^.^ Thank you for being patient with me

As for the character themselves, this is Max ^.^ I had SO much fun drawing him, oh my gosh. Originally, I was at a loss in what sort of pose to put him in here, so I decided to be boring and settled for something very similar to how he looks like in a reference image:

I absolutely love his design so much, so I did not want to tamper with it too much. I really love how he is both ambigously cat and dog like. I kept his outfit relatively the same, aside from moving his belt a little bit more upwards. I absolutely adore his outfit, BTW, it is a really good mix of modern and older emo styled clothing, and it blends together so well. As for the expression I gave him, originally, I was going to give him a look more akin to his OG eyes and expression, since he is a grumpy sort of character, but I really wanted to give him a kind of :3 look cause I thought he would look cute with it ^.^;

I really hope this looks okay. I am not like entirely happy with it, and I kept going back to change things. I am very critical when drawing designs I really love because I want to capture their image, and I absolutely love Max's design so I hope I did the boy justice here.
