A concept I've picked up around one and a half years ago by now.
Heavy Dragons is a band with a suprisingly consistent line-up of nine small dragons that play anything to picked and bowed strings to keyboards, vocals, percussion instruments as well as effect pedals and tape machines. They sound like something inbetween Cardiacs, Ween or Naked City, only lacking enough consistency though!
Of course, this is the largest amount of dragons I have ever drawn in my whole life, so I'll be naming each one of 'em for the ease of understanding.
Ginne (1): Frontman of the band. He is the main singer and plays a Strato.
Anthosmia (2): Main bassist. She still has the punk edge of the band during its early days.
Lunette (3): Does the backing vocals and plays the "Hummer", a novelty instrument you put in your cheeks to capture humming thru contact microphones.
Yoo-no (4): Snarky saxophone man who met Ginne at a venue crowd. The band members call him "Charmander" because of his appearance.
Cyora (5): The tuba and general brass player of the band. She and Yoo-no talk a lot, mostly because of their instruments, though, constantly helping each other practice.
Ferrous (6): A delirious violinist. He plays either very well or incomprehensible depending on how you look at it.
Vinky (7): A handy drummer and percussioner, but commonly plays bongos or acoustic drumsets. His energy goes from 1 to Zach Hill depending on what you feed him.
Dow-bro (8): The musíque concrète guy, his main instruments are turntables and tape machines. Usually spends time listening to Steve Reich and archiving the band's releases from sheer paranoia of losing (spolier: they won't).
Khen (9): Keyboardist for the band, and also sound engineer. Likes to do everything on reel tapes, and can hand some of them over to Dow-bro for him to mess around in compositions.
