Well, I started trying out Pixel Art today, and here's my first creation.

I've been having creative urges lately and I have been unable to use my instruments / record anything quite a while and into the near future, so I'm trying out pixel art.

I'm basically trying to learn to shade 'correctly', at the moment. I've read quite a few tutorials explaining how banding (which is how I started out) is the incorrect way to shade, so I found a few tutorials that explained what I should be trying to do.

I do find it enjoyable to experiment with different shades and trying to make an object look 'nice'. It was tough at first but it sort of clicked for me pretty fast. I'll probably be just making random objects until I feel like I could maybe do a sprite sheet (or half of one).
