I decided to do this color wheel challenge thing, conveniently at a point in my art where I have no idea what style I wanna go for! I decided to just focus on lineart for this one, both due to time and focusing my practice on the part of my workflow I struggle with the most. I want to start solidifying a specific style more so I can get consistent and better understand what to improve in a specific direction, so I hope this helps a bit :)
As for the characters I picked;
- Steven Universe is a tricky one, but I enjoy most of the original show, mainly its worldbuilding and a handful of twists in the story. It was definitely a struggle to find good pink-colored characters to choose from, but it was also hardly the bottom of the barrel.
- Darth Vader is cool, 'nuff said.
- I kinda cheated here with Finn and Jake but, lets be honest, you can't not put them together!
- Faye Valentine from Cowboy Bebop; if Adventure time is my favorite cartoon, Cowboy Bebop is probably my favorite anime. I usually struggle to get into most Japanese animation but Bebop was downright fantastic in all the best ways.
- Master Chief from Halo; even though I ever so slightly prefer Mass Effect, there's less green people in that game. I really like Chief's design though, even if hes a pain in the ass to draw
- Speaking of pain in the asses to draw, Wheatley from Portal 2 is almost as great as GLADoS, but I already used the orange slot, so here's him instead!
- Speaking of speaking of pain in the asses to draw, Raiden Shogun from Genshin Impact is one of the most fun "villains" I have seen in a really long time, and even though its a bit of a hot take, I really loved the Inazuma arc. Electro is also my favorite element, so thats a plus too.
