Feebly Membrane has been pretty busy as of late. Between overseeing the construction of a new research lab of planet Neptune, the extensive data gathering for "M.O.M 2: Electric Boogaloo" and the government wanting him to solve the strange case involving random things turning into clowns a few years ago; he only now begins to find it even harder to keep a personal life. When he also starts seeing his slowly graying hair, he realizes that he will not be on this mortal plane much longer ((though he plans to download his brain and personality into data when death come calling...)) and agonizes over the fact that he still has not found a suitable replacement for him to run the "Membrane Empire" in his stead. There is that son of his that he so wishes would follow in his footsteps. But as a loving father, Membrane has come to not get in the way of Dib's true passion as an...ugh..."paranormal researcher" and gave up trying to steer him on a path of TRUE SCIENCE!!

However around that time, Membrane has also begun to notice that his now adult daughter has actually gotten quite skilled and talented at building and operating complex machinery; especially that strange technology that more commonly used by that foreign green friend of Dib's that she has been hanging around an awful lot with lately. A thought began to emerge in the aging scientist's head, "What if what I had been looking for to carrying on my work all along was an heiress instead of an heir?"

Membrane's outfit is what he calls the "Lab Coat" and it's his most useful invention to date. Basically a wearable supercomputer whenever the man needs to SCIENCE on the go! It can compile research data, remote control any "Membrane Laboratories" tech or device, monitor important projects and experiments, self schedules appointments, dates and events and or course has it's own Wifi. Within the suit contains a self-cooling liquid Membrane created that circulates throughout to prevent overheating. And if it's not too obvious, it's pretty much inspired by Colress's look from Pokemon Sun and Moon!
