Ford is an impulsive monkey with nothing but instincts driving his every move. also a bazooka, good combo.

while Maverick is kind of his angel that balances that shit out, he's got a specific love for flowers (hence why they're all over his suit) and ford gives him all sortsa shit for liking them. Regardless he's very gruff and is ground to earth.
