Derrick is a living green blob of an unidentified substance. He's placed on top of a metal platform with wheels, which seems to be feeding some kind of electrical energy into him. It's all very up in the air about who or what he is, or how he came to be.

Regardless, Derrick is able to move around using his platform, presumably using his brain... if you can even call it that. He's also pretty good at English, being able to hold conversations with ease. Derrick tends to live a pretty chill lifestyle, spending most of his days moving around and just enjoying the view.

Derrick's vacant stare or mysterious origins may put you off at first, but once you've learned to warm to him, he can be a pretty good friend. Just don't try feeding him grapes. In fact, don't let him anywhere near grapes. He REALLY does not like grapes.
