Core doesn't demand much from life. In fact, you only need to give him four things for him to be happy; food, water, air... and trash. Core doesn't just like trash, he practically lives for it. Armed with his rusty mini trash can and his unprecedented passion for all things waste, Core spends his days travelling between various places where rubbish might be found, although naturally he spends most of his time at large dumps. He'll sift through the trash, and if he finds something he likes the look of, he'll drop it into his trash can and keep on siftin'. Once he's done for the day, he'll find somewhere to sleep, whether it's in an old washing machine or under a pile of empty crisp packets... and start all over again!

As well as collecting trash, Core likes to wear it. You'll never find him without his trash bag beanie, his yellow rubber gloves and his shopping-bag armband. This particular combination has made him quite recognisable across the land, with others regularly donating their trash to him whenever they see him around. He always seems to be particularly enthralled by apple cores, which is how he got his nickname. While he's generally loved by the people, the owners of the trash dumps hold different opinions, and Core has to regularly hide away whenever he sees them coming.

This is a character me and @aapiarts have spent the past week or so designing together. It's both of our first times designing a character with somebody else, and we're both really happy with how the result turned out. For example, I came up with the initial idea of a "friendly trash creature", while the character's slug-like appearance was aapi's suggestion. Overall, I'd say this has been a successful project, and we're definitely open to designing more characters together in the future.
