Which movie version of Jesus is your favorite? My favorite is either Willem Dafoe in The Last Temptation of Christ, or Jim Caviezel in The Passion of the Christ, neither of which I have seen.

Okayyyy some context. By chance I stumbled upon some AI generated art of Anime Jesus. I kinda thought it was cute and funny, but yeah... in those pics Jesus was wearing Kimonos, had webbed fingers, and three feet. So me being me, I took the best elements of those pictures and did my own version based off them. Plus, the thought of Jesus-chan being a body pillow is just funny to me. And Christfu / Waifu just makes me laugh.

My favorite might be an obscure/odd choice. It's The Visual Bible: The Gospel According to Matthew. Basically the script is literally Matthew so there isn't any add ons from Mark, Luke, and John...just what happens in Matthew. There only is one or two lines of dialogue that isn't from Matthew and that's just introducing the story. BUT while that's the gimmick, it's the actor who places Jesus which really makes me like it. This guy named Bruce Marchiano plays Jesus like a real person, not a stoic God like so many others do. When doing Jesus' sermons, he can take dry text and make it entertaining, sometimes even funny. He was the first actor I've seen take on the role in such a way and it made me think "If Jesus was that exciting and charismatic, then I can understand why people would follow him." So Marchiano is my favorite Jesus.
I'm glad to see you finally posted a Jesus artwork, because I know you did them before and din't post them on DA. lol I don't know what the other person is finding offensive about the title. Waifu is not a derogatory term. I doubt Jesus would care.

Well, it is making light of the "I love Jesus" kinda thing, so I can understand that. I don't mind if they aren't into the humor of that and they did seem respectful so it's all good. I do have a motto of sorts: If I can't show it to my Mom, someone is going to hate this. lol I probably could show this to her, BUT without the text.
I really like the art, but as crhistian i don't really like the title though, its sounds like blasphemy for me, and please do not attack me or anything, i also have my religion, you do not need to respect my religion but it just sounds a little offensive for ,e. Though, i just really like the art and don' wan't to start the whole drama here, it's not like i can do anything. :P/pos

This is incredibly well done, from the expression, to the hair and beard, the clouds and not forgetting the stigmata, this is really well done. Feels like the evolution of Bible Babes. This makes me think of this anime Bakuon. It is anime about high school girls starting a motorcycle club, very much a moe comedy. A recurring background character, is Jesus riding a Harley. In one instance the MC catches him coming out of a store with porn. It's a fun little show.

To be honest when I saw Jesus Christfu, my first though was Jesus Christ Kung Fu. But this is funny too.
