The manticore is a creature with the body of a lion, a scorpion tail and bat wings, it has enormous strength and is capable of firing devilish projectiles from its tail, despite having wings they cannot fly great distances and only when they reach full maturity, they cannot be trained or used as a mount, once they choose their partner it is for life.
