I don't recall when this day was, but at the time I illustrated this piece, it was National Banana Day, and so to celebrate, I imagined two Hanna-Barbera characters meeting: Magilla Gorilla and George Jetson from The Jetsons.

It's established in the latter show that George doesn't eat bananas, so to play with that fact, Magilla is trying to be nice in offering him a banana while George seethes silently. XD
