Did this painting of Blue Diamond from Steven Universe as both a fun work and something of a dare with a mutual artist. I've never really gotten into Steven Universe, but Blue Diamond is one of my favorite characters. Her design, her colors, her overall character - it really connected with me.

So yeah, I painted this - and I really wanted to go out with it. Took some inspiration from Frank Frazetta for the style, and as I painted it I went above and beyond from my initial ideas, and for that I enjoyed the process even more.
