I'm revamping all of my OC's to have similar styled reference sheets, and as usual when it comes to doing something that involves all my OC's, I begin in alphabetical order with Aeon~
I'm changing her backstory a little bit by the way. Instead of being part of a group of 5th Dimensional beings, her and Iota are acting of their own accord.
She's still from a higher dimension, but there isn't exactly a set group of Time Cops or anything, she's just doing this alongside Aeon because they specifically run on the concept of time and need to ensure that it flows smoothly.
Earth is still their designated hotspot because well...most time fuckery shenanigans happen there, especially with Bianca still being on the loose. That's the main reason her and Iota even really have any interactions with the main cast, and it's why Bianca's redemption arc takes a bit of time (hah pun) to actually sink in. Kinda hard to redeem yourself when you're constantly on the run across the entire multiverse.
Aeon is still the long range specialist of the duo, though her personality has taken a bit of a shift in that in spite of being heralded as the calm and collected half of these two...she's actually quite a gung-ho in your face type of fighter at heart.
Unfortunately, her build status is still the same in that she's the more fragile of the two, so that combination tends to play out...badly.
Iota basically needs to babysit her girlfriend so that she doesn't impulsively get herself killed half the time.
It's not that she CAN'T fight back, she very much can...it's just that she's a glass cannon.
The main method she and Iota use to repair paradoxes and monitor the time stream involves her being an encyclopedic library of all of history, meaning that she has an almost unlimited cache of knowledge about the entirety of the multiverse...though not all at the same time. She DOES still need to actively search through it if she needs to recall a specific memory, and that can take a while.
Not a problem for her with her mastery of time, however.
---------------------------------------------------------------------
"Full Name": Unpronounceable, at least in the 3rd Dimension. Nicknamed "Aeon" by herself.
Gender: Female...kinda. It's the closest approximation and she prefers to present as such.
Sexual Orientation: She really only has eyes for her partner, Iota.
Birthday: N/A. She IS a hair under 93 Million Years old in our time though, but since she exists above the concept, she doesn't exactly have a specific date she was "born".
Ethnicity: When she's in her human disguise, it comes packaged with a backstory and all requisite objects necessary to make it true. In her case, her human disguise is usually Korean.
Family: N/A
Eye Color: Cybernetic Blue, and sometimes green depending on her mood.
It's the same in her human disguise, with a pixel effect occasionally shimmering through. Most people write it off as a trick of the light.
Hair Color: Cyan fading to white, though admittedly in her base form it's not really hair as much as it is a carapace like shell? In her human disguise it's black fading to cyan, with a large streak of light cyan.
Height: 6'3'', though she looks shorter because she's pretty much always floating.
Weight: About as heavy as she needs to be. Her density is interchangeable. Her human disguise is like...
Other Features: In her base form, her eyes are actually more like a visor with LED's acting as the pupils. They can show off more than just eyes too, acting as an actual display monitor. The markings all along her body act as a sort of indicator of her status, glowing bright when at full capacity, becoming duller with energy expended (she recharges naturally as far as the time stream is flowing naturally in the area she is in, but too much energy could put her in emergency stasis recharge mode), and becoming almost blindingly bright if she's super boosted. Her skin is metallic textured, but touching it is almost like touching nothing at all, more like rubbing the surface of something that is electrically charged. Also, despite looking metallic, she can alter her density in any manner to make her body react and behave more like human skin her disguise, or harden to impenetrable levels when she's acting on the defensive. If she does this though, she can't really attack and therefore must balance between switching between acting on the offense or defense.
In her base design, her limbs seem to float separate from her torso, and that's due to her joints being imperceivable in the 3rd dimension, only being able to be observed in the 5th. This does mean that while it looks like you could pull her limbs separate from her torso...you really can't.
And you shouldn't try, as that would certainly piss off Iota.
Speaking of, Iota's a big fan of how thick Aeon's thighs are, which Aeon takes pride in~
Overall Attitude: While she carries an air of being classy and stoic, it's all really just a false impression. She's a HUGE geek who squee's whenever she see's something cute (it's one of her weaknesses), and can be a bit overbearing with how talkative and excitable she can be. She's also a little too fond of her own design, to the point that her human disguise is more of a recolor than anything else because she can't bear to alter it too much. As her designated purpose is to carry historical knowledge as a sort of library, she can also hyper fixate on the most random pieces of trivia that she knows. She's also on the cutting edge of the zeitgeist (handy since she's a time traveler), always one of the first few people to spot a trend growing and boosting its popularity. In a way, she can be seen as an influencer, though from behind the scenes.
Problems: She's got a bit of a hard time understanding social cues, and her self centeredness can make her a bit unintentionally rude to others. She does mean well though. As mentioned before, she's kind of bad at disguising herself since she doesn't like altering her design too much. That's fine for more present day or future timelines, but it can come to a bit of head in the past. She can also exhibit a bit of jealousy thanks to her partner Iota. Aeon is more built for defensive abilities, but she likes to wield them in more offensive manners, which can cause her to over exert herself. She also has a bad habit of assuming everyone else is like Iota, who can instantly recognize a plan that Aeon will make and work around it. She forgets that not everyone can read her like Iota can, and will sometimes assume people will stick to a hypothetical plan she made without them even knowing. At which point if it fails, she'll be mad at them...even though her lack of communication is actually at fault.
Phobias: Being bound to the natural flow of time like a mortal.
Style and Mannerisms: She's a genki girl/tourist type. It can get a bit grating, but if you can endure it, she's an indispensable well of knowledge that you are gonna want to keep around. Keep an eye out on her though, she will absolutely wander off on her own (which, she can handle herself fine, but you might not be able to.) She may not consider herself an entertainer, but she does have the natural charisma to keep people entertained, even if it sometimes comes at the expense of her social interactions on a personal level. Her voice is kind of melodic too, in that it has a sort of sing-songy rhythm when she talks.
Relationships: You notice how I keep referring to Iota as her partner? That's true in both the professional sense and the romantic sense. It's a bit more obvious on Aeon's side, as she keeps trying to get them to do more traditional couple things, but they both love each other equally~ Iota's just a bit shy about doing stuff that could make her seem weak, as she feels she needs to be the strong one of the duo.
Likes: Cute things, exploring new locations, rambling on about history and anything she might have a hyper fixation on at the time, karaoke, Iota, being able to draw a crowd with her abilities, her own design, mirrors
Powers: She was built with more defensive properties in mind, so her main ability is hard light constructs and projections. She can create shields, weapons, pretty much anything she can think of. They're also EXTREMELY durable, to the point that even the collapsing death of the universe itself would only cause scratch damage. She's also got complete control over time when down in our dimension, able to speed up, reverse, travel through and so-on. As necessary for a being meant to record and store history, she's also able to speak every language perfectly after hearing it used once.
Weaknesses: The durability of the hard light constructs does actually decrease with size. Anything larger than a city wide dome will lose about a point of durability scaling upwards. She could theoretically make a shield as big as the universe itself, but the durability of that would be to the point of glass, and would certainly use up all her available power. She's also easily distracted by cute things.
And of course, while her constructs are extremely durable...she herself isn't.
About on par with an average human really at base level.
Not technically bad, but considering the beings she has to go up against, it's a serious disadvantage.
Favorites:
Color: Cyan
Animal: Swans and other waterfowl
Places: Tourist traps. She's a sucker for them.
Food: The time stream itself that she uses as a power source
