i watched r.o.d. the tv, it was one of the first anime i watched. however, i was six years old at the time so i do not remember the show at all. the show was certainly something, in a good way that is, though my expectations for it was that i drop it midway because i saw the episode count and that struck fear me thanks to k-on s2. i did have some gripes about the show, some about plot points, but mainly i expected some more character development from maggie and michelle. i don't mind that anita (and to an extent, nenene) had alot of development, in fact, anita's school arc was probably my favorite part of the show, thought i did expect that arc on how it will deal anita being a paper master, but she manages to keep that a secret. all in all, i thought the show was a pretty fun watch; a bit flawed, but the flaws are easy to sit through.

also, yomiko readman is a different first name away from a kojima-tier name, like imagine someone named booker readman and he's a writer. that'd be too on the nose, it makes it funny.
