ISOLATED IN DISASTER

Share

Hello there!

Thank you for viewing.

My name is Britney Williams, or Drawnimation (on YouTube) and this is my drawing for the Jazza Isolation Comp. This is my very first competition of any kind and I really had fun, not gonna lie.

This picture is of an orphan teen. The picture tells a story since I want to illustrate books/stories when I get older. She has gone through a lot as shown through the dirt on her clothes. She is basically, as far as she knows, the last human left on the earth. The only contact she has with the outside world, is through the monitor on the desk. The small monitor on her left has been disrupted and is showing static. The other one shows how bad the disaster has become. it seems like everyone is gone and so she is distraught. She is also listening from her radio which is next to her on the desk. There is also a paper on the desk that she found when she was running away to safety. It says "The End" which is talking about the apocalypse that seems to have happened. This leads her to panic and cry as she sits in her chair. She is alone in this world. Isolated.

People can relate to way she is curled up on the chair in utter depair feeling isolated.

Drawnimation responds:

I'm so happy to hear that, because I truly wanted people to understand what she was going through. Have a good night or day! and thank you for making me smile
