happy 2024! this one wasn't the first drawing i made this year, but it's the first one i want to start off this year's gallery with. i've been slowly recovering with my mental health (again) because adhd burnout sucks :^D and it usually lasts a few months or so.. my workflow isnt exactly the greatest thing haha, so i've been drawing more sparkledog/sparklefur-esque characters since it's a subject i deeply enjoy and can always find comfort in.

da workflow goes like this: have idea > hyperfocus on that one idea > 50/50 chance i'll get bored of it and start another project > get bored again > go back to original idea > hyperfocus on finishing it in one sitting and then get burnt out for the rest of the day. skull emoji. still haven't found a routine that works for me x_x that's also why posting hasn't been consistent either, im certainly more active on my tumblr (same name) but i get burnt out with social media too. happens to the best of us D:
