hiii, hello haiii! — lately i haven't been able to draw much due to a sudden injury.. watched the eclipse with my roommate and their friend, but i was in such a rush that i didn't realize i forgot to eat breakfast that day. i smoked weed, a bit too much as per usual, and started to feel sick. i looked up at the eclipse again. before i could look down, there was a second where i removed the glasses early and the flash of light struck me with a sudden headache, which led me to sit on the table. my roomie asked if i needed water, and i only remember waking up on the ground afterwards, hearing their voices asking if im okay.

it was a pretty sucky day from then on, but a memorable one! i ended up tearing a tendon in my elbow which has been the reason for my lack of posting and drawing. so far it's been about two-ish weeks since then? i had to readjust my drawing posture, ive got four different types of braces, some joint relief balm, a cold compress etc.. to make up for it, though, ive been focusing on my recovery and taking things slow.

most of my drawings thus far are personal works until i can trust myself to take on my usual projects again and resume my commissions queue. this has thrown a wrench in my work but i won't quit! if god is trying to eff me up he's gonna have to try a little harder than that X-]

OH! and speaking of, this drawing is to commemorate my first ever HRT shot! thanks to the roommate mentioned before, they were able to get me an appointment at their family clinic and get me started on testosterone. im very happy about that! i always thought it'd be a difficult process so i sort of... gave up on it before lol. im glad things worked out, so far ive gotten two shots and im excited for my third!! :D

so far, things have been up and down but not too down. im surrounded by people who understand and appreciate me unconditionally, ive got three partners who i love very much, and i live with one of them! even with an injured arm, ive still got a lot of unfinished business to take care of and i'll push forward to achieve my goals ^_^ im extremely grateful for what ive got!!
