Managed to bust this one out fairly quickly, I hope this means I'm getting faster. This was just warm up drawing after having not drawn anything for 3 months and considering this is the first piece I've drawn since I got back from Alaska, it's pretty alright. I will try to draw the next thing a bit more dynamic, whether or not it'll be in color though is a different story. I'm liking drawing things grayscale. I want to draw a lot of 'autumn core' images cause that's probably my favorite season of the year. I vibe with it quite a bit. I probably could've touched up the face a bit more and made it look better but I figured since its a thigh-up picture I could keep it the way it was. Here's a lil process by stage picture thing if you're interested. I've been actively seeking the perfect brush to use in Clip Studio. I've even resorted to creating my own brushes from scratch. I need a brush that gives a dry rough look to it but that I can also blend with at the same time. It's been a tough process to figure it out but I'll get there eventually. I almost got it here but it's def not quite the look I'm trying to go for. Need more practice and experimenting.

I've been playing a lot Armored Core 6, and I've been having a wonderful time with it. So much so that I've bought and installed Starfield yet I still continue to play AC6 and haven't launched Starfield at all yet. It's probably my GOTY and even potentially my favorite FromSoft game. I hope Bandai Namco keeps letting them make more AC games in the future. The mech genre needs a severe kickstart cause its been dead for awhile it would seem. Also I think it's good for FromSoft to be beholden to more genres other than the "SoulsBourneRing" type of game. I love those games as well but AC really opened my eyes to how well they nailed a mecha game that I really just NEED more of THAT. I'd also be willing to take other experiences that they'd like to tackle. Either way once I'm over AC I'll be hopping into Starfield maybe, that or I'll wait for the big titty mods to come out idk.

I've also been reading a light novel series "Classroom of the Elite". I watched the anime and I enjoyed it quite a bit so I've been trying out the source material and it's also pretty good. Although I prefer a lot of the changes that the anime does for the main character to a certain extent. I think he's annoying in both renditions but in different ways. He's completely emotionless in the anime even to the point of being almost evil where he's using his classmates as tools for his bidding. And I kinda wish he would grow a heart just a little bit and have some sort of growth because it's kind of hard to watch him go down the path that he's going (which in it's own right is interesting at least). But in the light novels he comes off as a very ordinary and pathetic teenage boy anime protagonist. Maybe this is something that slowly changes in the books because I prefer the protagonist that wasn't just a person with a slightly pathetic personality and also just voices out almost every horny thought that he has. In comparison to the other male characters he's not as bad as they are, but it just comes off as unlikeable especially when I was already under the impression that he was a cold, calculating emotionless bastard and didn't let the fake ass UwU girl manipulate him so much. Here he has pretty clear emotions and a decent chunk of it is influenced by boobs. Which isn't inherently bad for anime, it's something that I normally wouldn't mind and would be fine with, but it's such a 180 from the adaptation that it is jarring.

That first picture be loading longer than the ruffle player. Your gray scaling is mighty impressive that I noticed it right away.

DoctorCroe responds:

Yeah I probably oughta export it to a smaller res from now on, my b. Thank you so much!
