My first real open landscape/environment drawing I've done, hopefully the sense of scale and composition stuff is alright.
I really love post apocalyptic and wasteland settings so I want to try creating worlds like that from now on. Biggest draws of inspiration is definitely Fallout 1 and New Vegas (I have not played 2 yet). Maybe next time I can include more destroyed buildings to make it feel more like a true fallout-ish wasteland. My biggest dream for a setting like this would be to make a comic out of it but I'd want a bit of writing experience under my belt before that.
I thought about removing the character all together but I left her in just because I started this piece wanting a person to be in it so I followed through on that.

Yeah the house was the funnest part of this piece to do for me, glad you noticed it.
I think leaving the character in was a also a good idea to create a sense of scale.
