The guards of the Isle of Neyit, with the right Duernine’s design and color scheme focusing on the city that my players are in, in my d&d campaign. Gurzho. They are a port city that has a large farming community in the surrounding eastward regions.
(Duernine = Dwarf Dogs)
Because of this, the guards of the regions have the color green, as well as blues for the sea which they reside close to. The local marines or expedition forces wear all blue armor with varying shades. This is a western region color scheme though and it differs on the other coastal areas.
The difference between the council guards and local guards / rank and file soldiers are class. The council guards are typically nobility who have a stake or devotion to serving the council and the betterment / safety of Neyit. They wear the council colors of white, gray, and red; and operate as an outward acting force towards hostile threats, and protecting the council. Many council guards patrol the strait between Neyit and Borterrav, and sometimes land and carryout missions on foreign costal locations.
