Do you draw with a thin brush and then add more thickness to your lines as you go, or do you just draw with a thick brush the whole time? I've been trying both and I'm not sure which one is better.

i usually go with a thick brush with pen pressure, then erase and/or add more thickness to my liking
but it depends, for this piece in particular i did reduce the brush size in a lot of places
