Creation process:
By far, I think this is the longest I've spent making a render showing an otherworldly environment. Before this one, most of my previous otherworld renders were more focused on something aside from the general scene (like a path or a door), but here, in this image I wanted to focus more on the scenery and how I could experiment with it. As you can see, the textures have been edited to fit more with the tone I was going for, that is, I mixed them with different textures to make them feel "rusty" in a way. I think this helped a lot. Another thing was the water, even since I discovered how to use water in Blender, I've been using it in all my renders because it's just fun to mess around with it, and in this render, I think it greatly helped with the scenery. One last thing I wanted to say is that on my future projects, I will make a simple video showing the creation process of the render (like the last video on this post) I got the idea from another image I saw here, and so, I decided to do the same as I hope people can find it interesting.
P.D: Yeah, Silent Hill 3 was a huge inspiration during the creation of this render.
(All models and textured were made by me using Blender and GIMP)
