Creation Process:

One of the last scenes from my game, and one which I've thought about since the very beginning. The thing is, this render is kind of a recreation of a real place called "Casa de les Aigues", which I visited just a few weeks after I started developing Call From Within. Since then, I've wanted to put that scene into the game, and with it coming to an end, I decided to make it one of the last scenes, although it will be slightly modified to fit more with the visuals of the scene. Really proud of how it ended up looking, as I always find it quite interesting to successfully recreate a real location in my own style.

Onto the technical stuff:

I really struggled to get a nice camera angle with this one, mainly because of how enclosed this location is. To get this render done, I actually had to remove some walls that would be right in front of the camera so it showed specific areas like the pipes on the right, the whole staircase and the corridor on the right, the wheelbarrow... At first, I wanted it to be 16:9, but due to this same issue I decided to keep it 1:1 and worked around that.

Decoration doesn't play a huge role in this render, and although it's still important, I think what sticks out more is the overall layout of the map and textures. This is one of the few renders that I've made that have more than one level regarding the map layout (different floors), and I think it was nice to play around with it, specially when it comes to managing the whole location's structure and its main attributes
